With a maximum power consumption of 20W at 2.0 GHz versus 110W for Xeons and 89W for Opterons, the ecoserv reduces your power bills by up to 80%. The reduced heat output and the resultant lower cooling and power requirements means you save more than just power bills. As a result of the lowered heat profile, the Ecoserv 1U is able to pack 4 internal 3.5” drive bays, whilst the ecoserv 2U can fit 9. This allows up to 2 terabytes per 1U space, and up to 4.5 terabytes per 2U space.
